Analyze It First

Have you experience your Yahoo email being compromised and you never know how that can happened? I did last week and thought it could be old time virus that happened few years back.

What happened was there were emails coming from my Yahoo email to contact list in that account and it was not from me. The links are various kind of bulk mailer or easy said spammers! I was embarassed that these emails could have gone to my personal contact lists and they will be shocked to see me sending that horrendous information. Infact I even have to contact Alert Pay when their system send automatic reply that my support request will be answered shortly when I NEVER send any support request!

If you go to your Yahoo account and click the link in there "View your recent login activity" you would be surprised that all those emails come through 'Yahoo mobile' around the world...I guess these are spammers or could it be something else? Mine I saw in there Brazil, India, Italy and many more.

So I just changed my password and it seems the issue stopped for now and am happy. That's all you need to do IF it happens to you.
